This article is outside my usual area of media spirituality, but I had to share it with you. I think it's scary as hell.

The author says that modern information technology has not produced more understanding. Instead, it has made us more impatient and more distractible. And it has made us less able to remember, analyze and reflect on information.

Scary and ironic. The more we take in, the less we absorb. The more data, the less wisdom.
